Every day the University of Tennessee Institute of Agriculture advances the State of Tennessee. Each of our four units – UT Extension, UT AgResearch, the Herbert College of Agriculture, and the College of Veterinary Medicine — is committed to the land-grant mission of educating, discovering, and connecting.
UTIA has a presence in each and every county, and we hope to serve each and every citizen of Tennessee. From students, agribusiness, and the public to families, farmers, and 4-Her’s, our impacts improve the quality of lives and enhance the agricultural, economic, environmental, and social well-being of Tennessee. We create real life solutions to prepare students to make a difference, to discover knowledge, and to connect with people and communities to help them prosper.
Through alumni engagement, financial stewardship, and private gift support, UTIA’s Office of Institutional Advancement coordinates efforts to engage our constituents for volunteer service and philanthropic investments. The support of alumni and friends enables UTIA to continue to provide real life solutions.
