Grants will be awarded to the most innovative and deserving applicants as determined by the Alliance Executive Board. Grants range between $2,500 to $25,000 and are awarded annually. Projects/programs may be ongoing or a one-time event.
Students, faculty, staff, departments, and university-recognized student organizations from any University of Tennessee campus or unit may apply. Organizations that have a formal relationship with any of the following entities: University of Tennessee Institute for Public Service, University of Tennessee Space Institute, University of Tennessee Institute of Agriculture, University of Tennessee Alumni Association, may also apply.
Funding MAY NOT be used for any of the following activities or expenditures:

The Alliance is particularly interested in funding projects that are innovative and show a compelling need. We are also interested in projects that have the opportunity to generate revenue for the university or can be leveraged to gain support from other organizations. Additionally, we hope to make the greatest impact possible, whether that means touching a large number of students, collaborating with local organizations, or making an impact in the community.
