It is truly an honor for me to be at the University of Tennessee. I have a great respect, appreciation and admiration for the role the University of Tennessee has in serving the state, the nation and the world, and the role the foundation has in building the ethos that turns gifts into investments in the future.
Because of your investments, many of our programs are among the best in the country; our students are better prepared than ever to meet the challenges of an ever-changing global economy; and our agricultural, community, and public service efforts across the state serve Tennesseans in nearly every area of their lives.
Gifts such as yours allow us to fund programs of excellence, offer additional scholarships, recruit and retain the highest caliber faculty, and ensure that we can meet the challenges of educating today’s students and prepare for the needs of tomorrow’s students.
