About the Development Council
Mission Statement
The mission of the University of Tennessee Development Council is to give, serve, and lead: to give of private resources, serve as fundraising volunteers, and lead philanthropic efforts at the University of Tennessee.
Purpose
The University of Tennessee Development Council is the volunteer fundraising arm of the UT Foundation Inc. and the University of Tennessee. We work actively with the UTFI to advance the university’s private giving initiatives and assist in achieving its mission in the areas of education, research, and outreach.
