Giving to the University of Tennessee System

With less than 30 percent of UT’s budget being provided by the state, your generous financial support allows each campus and institute to improve programs for students, recruit gifted students with scholarships, educate and challenge them with the highest quality faculty, recruited and retained through endowed professorships and chairs, ultimately enhancing the future of our state.

Development

Development is the fundraising arm of the University of Tennessee System. Each campus has its own development office with regional development officers placed throughout the country. The University of Tennessee System has designated the UT Foundation as the preferred channel for all private contributions. Foundation staff work with alumni and other prospective donors to procure funds for scholarships, professorships, research, outreach programs, and other University initiatives.

It’s easy–and important–to give. There are many types of giving and ways to give. Take a look at the list to the right to see just how you can make a difference.
